Rebuilding Our Mission Project (ROMP) UPDATE

I am pleased to update everybody that the rebuilding of our beautiful church is progressing well, and the roof will start going up in the next couple of months.Thumbs Up Handy

The walls and roof rebuild phase is scheduled for competition by early 2027.

We have received feedback from the Church of England statutory consultation bodies, including Historic England, the Church Buildings Council and the Victorian Society, in relation to the interior design plans and the PCC is now responding to their queries.

We are expecting a response from the Diocese regarding our plans for the design and reordering of the interior of the church in the coming weeks.

A storyboard has been set up on the church site that shows our plans for all passersby, and visitors to read at their leisure.
